Venerated Venomous Consort

Chapter 1207: She Missed Her Original Body (2)

They have been apart for about 20 days, but Gu Xijiu felt like it had been a few years. Now, she felt glad and relieved to see it again. Hence, she waved her hand and spoke, "Mussel! Why are you? Come on. Come here."

The mussel immediately rolled towards her and clipped at the edge of her dress. "Master, did you change your body? It looks gorgeous! We have been guarding your previous body as we thought that you were dead..."

Gu Xijiu was speechless.

"You’ve been guarding my body? Where is it?"

"It’s over there in the ice palace. Celestial Master Zuo picked us up and asked us to protect your body properly as Lu Wu could make sure that the body stayed alive while I can make sure that the body doesn’t decompose. Thus, your body is still as good as when you were living inside it, but, it’s just not breathing..." The mussel explained the plots of the story as well as its contribution.

Gu Xijiu pulled it along as she walked. "Bring me to my body."

Finally, Gu Xijiu saw her little body.

Though she only used it for less than three years, she was attached to it. Initially, she had not felt anything while she was living inside the body. However, she now felt strange as she looked at it. She felt close and warm but also strange.

When she had just arrived, Lu Wu was squatting on the crystal coffin, and it looked so depressed as it stared at the body inside the coffin...

However, as soon as Gu Xijiu had called its name when she came in, it immediately turned into a lively pet and rushed towards her once it recognized her!

It immediately crashed into her arms and could not stop rubbing its head against her chest as though it did not know how else it could express its happiness. Wind Caller was lying down on the floor, and it could not stop licking Gu Xijiu’s clothes when it saw her again.

It was the best way to welcome her back. Gu Xijiu was touched as she rubbed Wind Caller’s head and combed Lu Wu’s fur. The mussel could not find a space to squeeze in. Hence, it stood behind them and continued clipping her dress.

The three of them had been staying at Tianju Hall for almost two years. There were not many changes on the mussel and Wind Caller, but Lu Wu had grown so much bigger. Initially, it was effortless for it to squeeze into her sleeve, but now it was as big as a fat cat, and Gu Xijiu could feel its weight as it lied in her arms.

The three of them could not stop lingering around Gu Xijiu and continuously rubbed their heads against her. Coincidentally, Gu Xijiu saw a seven-colored light in the crystal coffin when she raised her head, and the brightness was enough to hurt anyone’s eyes.

She was attracted by the colorful light and then she saw the Firmament Stone...

It was no longer black but rather a colorful bracelet! It was still worn the wrist of her previous body.

Gu Xijiu was annoyed as she knew that the Firmament Stone had a life of its own and it was supposed to be able to recognize her soul. However, it did not rush towards her even though it saw her and was still attached to that wrist.

She walked over and knocked on the jade with her finger. "Little Cang!"

The Firmament Stone blinked but after that, it stopped responding.

What happened?

Was it mad?

Or was something wrong?

Gu Xijiu knocked on it again. "What happened? Are you trapped in there?"

How was it possible?!

The Firmament Stone finally flew out from the crystal coffin and moved around Gu Xijiu.
