My World Traveling System: The Harbinger of Death

Chapter 730 Hectarious Frustration

-----

Arthurious mother who had not attended the arena was sitting inside of her room, she had been told by a butler that her son was fighting in the arena against Hectarious, but because she felt fearful to see her son getting beaten badly, she had doubted a lot about seeing him and his monster in action… However, at the end, he decided to see what he was doing, even if it was bad, as his mother, she couldn\'t help but feel very worried.

However, the moment she looked into the crystal ball that showed what was happening inside, her eyes opened wide. Blackie, the black goat that had been cursed and had a very weak physique, which was picked by her exclusively so he wouldn\'t grow and would end up not making her son participate was now… evolved, stronger than ever before, and fighting toe to toe against the might black wyvern of Hectarious, the most promising of all the grandchildren of the Emperor Navarre!

"W-What…?! I-Is that really Blackie? Is this really my son fighting there with Blackie!?" She couldn\'t help but jump out in surprise. Arthurious had not brought Blackie to the house anymore after he evolved because he was too big and he didn\'t wanted to let his siblings know about Blackie\'s changes, so he kept him inside of Frank\'s monster pet nursery until now.

The woman, Arthurious mother, whose name was Alicianna Berghest was left surprised and almost completely flabbergasted. The fight didn\'t even lasted that long either, after the intense fight, the wyvern was completely defeated and… that was it. The power of Blackie was simply outstanding, he had the advantage at all times!

The projection showed Hectarious completely defeated on his knees, as the referee continued speaking…

"The winner is Arthurious with a crushing defeat! Hectarious has lost with his only monster, so he had been disqualified!" Said the referee, as Arthurious covered his face shyly while everyone cheered for him and admired him for his amazing performance, especially with Blackie… his mother couldn\'t help but suddenly change the light of her eyes, as she looked at her son win.

She had been neglecting many things as a mother because of the fear she felt against her husband and also against this dangerous world of monsters, and the horrendous tradition of this family… But now it was different, something changed.

She had been neglecting teaching her son proper values many times, she loved him but at many times, she discouraged him to fight instead of encouraging him, she kept trying over and over again, because she wanted him to grow into a person without involving himself into this horrendous game, grow as an adult, and work into something honorable like an alchemist, or a merchant… But at the end, things changed drastically.

Did they change for the better or for the worse? She didn\'t knew but… she felt so happy for him that she couldn\'t help but cheer.

"You did it, Arthurious… You really did it…" She cried, covering her eyes with a handkerchief.

<br/>She suddenly realized she shouldn\'t be here crying, but with her son cheering for him and hugging him… She quickly walked outside of her room, reaching the butler.

"Ernesto, let\'s go outside, I want to go greet my son."

"My lady… Very well, I\'ll get ready the carriage right away!"

The man quickly ran downstairs as Alicianna smiled, she walked back to her room and prepared herself, and quickly went off her residence, for the first time in months, she wanted to see her son and congratulate him, even if that was the only thing she could do…

"It can\'t be… My wyvern lost to your trash lamb?!" Asked Hectarious, feeling utterly speechless and hopeless… The man couldn\'t help but trash talk Arthurious instead of treating him decently, even when he lost he called Blackie a trash lamb.

"Blackie is not a trash lamb, he beat you." Said Arthurious. "Stop being so delusional and stand up already, brother, don\'t be like this."

Arthurious walked towards his brother as he extended a hand to him.

"Come on, let\'s go, you have to heal your wyvern or it will get worse…" Said Arthurious.

Hectarious looked at Arthurious in utter anger, as he stood up and suddenly reached up to him, grabbing his robes and lifting him up!

"Y-You fucking shrimp! I\'ll beat you to death!!!" He roared out of pure wrath, pushing his fists towards the little Arthurious! However, although Arthurious was scared, he quickly got a serious face.

FLASH!

"UAGH!"

Suddenly, a black shadow tentacle emerged from the very shadows of Hectarious, wrapping around his arm and forcing it down!

"Uuggh…?! W-What the heck is this?!" He asked in disbelief, as he suddenly noticed Blackie! He was right behind him, controlling his shadows through his Shadow Manipulation Skill, and forcing him to not hit Arthurious…

Arthurious quickly walked down, as he saw a group of guards, they suddenly grabbed Hectarious and the wyvern and carried them away, Hectarious was so mad he was angrily shouting insults at Arthurious, completely unbefitting of his royalty.

"Y-You fucking stupid shitty brat! I am going to fucking kill you! I\'LL KILL YOUUU! YOU AND YOUR STUPID LAMB! …W-What are you looking at me like that?! Ugh! Unhand me you bastards! You can\'t do this to me, I am the prince! I am the LAW!"

"What a brainless idiot." Said Frank, who had walked back to Arthurious in the arena. "Good job Arthurious!" He said, congratulating the boy and petting him in the head. Arthurious happily smiled, as Miriam, Gwendolyn, and Axitl also came to congratulate him.

"Congratulations, Arthurious!" Said Gwendolyn. "I never doubted you."

"Yeah, amazing work!" Said Axitl. "You and Blackie rock!"

"Well done! Blackie was amazing, and you kept your composure even when your brother insulted you… Well done!" Said Miriam, petting the boy.

"Hahaha… W-Well… Hahaha…" Arthurious laughed shyly, happy to be praised…

"Arthurious!"

p However, the voice of someone that Arthurious recognized was heard.
