Rise of The Anti God

Chapter 455 - Damien’s Plan

"Wa...Wait! You can\'t do that!" Drake realized that this guy was even more cunning than he thought.

He never knew that there could be something worse than dying before hearing what Godnim had to say.

"Luna, you are sure he doesn\'t have any talismans on him that could track his location, right?" Damien asked just to be sure.

"Nope. Obviously, they wouldn\'t expect someone like you to kidnap him since usually, people kill those whom they can\'t get any information from. Besides, where are you going to hide him? He is not a nobody from where he is coming from."

Damien inwardly smiled, "Don\'t worry about that. I got the right place for him."

Damien then looked at the frightened Drake and said, "You got no choice. Now, if you don\'t do as I say, I will cut off your fingers one by one till you shut your mouth. Is that understood?"

Drake gulped and nodded like a hen pecking at seeds, making Damien scoff.

Damien sealed his cultivation while Drake wanted to resist but didn\'t since he knew he was helpless for now.

Damien tied his hands and made him put on his hood to cover his face as he said, "We are going out the back, Yuria. Let\'s go."

\'Yuria? She is the princess of the Krisen Kingdom? What the hell is she doing here with this guy?\' Drake by now realized the girl\'s identity since he had heard of this name even in his empire because of her enchanting beauty.

But this only surprised him even more since he never expected a princess like her to be involved in battles or even work together with someone like Godnim.

However, he couldn\'t voice out any words since his mouth was sealed as well by Damien. And from the outside, it looked like Damien was escorting out a prisoner clad in a black cloak.

Damien and Yuria quietly slipped out through the back gate, using Tristen to make sure the way ahead was clear. Fortunately, everyone had rushed towards the front gate to defend against the army that was trying to break in, making it easy for Damien to slip out of the palace without anyone else knowing.

There was only a forest behind the palace, and after making sure there was nobody else around, Damien called out, "Haunter!"

The trees swayed to and fro as a strong gale of wind blew across the place Damien was standing, revealing a large hawk-like bird with huge powerful wings.

Drake was surprised to see such a large bird that was at least twelve feet in length, and seeing its razor-sharp purple claws, he swallowed his saliva, knowing that its claws could easily tear through his neck like paper.

But most of all, the pressure he was feeling from this bird made him feel so minuscule and shocked at the same time to guess that this bird was at least in the Heaven Ethereal Realm since he had previous experience of being before powerful cultivators.

He already began to profusely sweat from top to bottom, feeling his limbs becoming numb from fear upon realizing that this Godnim fellow was far from ordinary. Most of all, he had no idea who this guy was and why he was targeting him.

He couldn\'t remember offending such a guy before.

Damien grabbed Drake\'s neck and made him climb over Haunter\'s back. Drake had no choice but to do as he was told but couldn\'t help but wonder what this guy was up to.

"Go!" Damien patted Haunter\'s large wings as it suddenly took off into the air as Damien had instructed it to stay put till he was done with his business here.

"Where do you plan to keep him?" Yuria asked after Haunter took to the skies.

"Right where his family wouldn\'t expect to find...in my mansion in Luton Town or, to be exact, Prince Tristen\'s mansion. I had constructed an underground dungeon just in case but never thought I would be needing it so early," Damien said as he looked at the dark skies.

"Wow, you have really thought ahead. But are you sure his people wouldn\'t find him?" Yuria asked curiously.

"They will surely search for him, but why would they specifically search the mansion of one of the princes of the Gale Empire? They can\'t do it without the Gale Emperor\'s permission, and obviously, the Gale Emperor wouldn\'t allow it. Anyway, they won\'t have a reason to suspect Tristen since on the outside, he is in no way connected to Drake," Damien said in a tone of certainty.

Yuria nodded, thinking that he was right.

"Let\'s get back to Valentina. She must be waiting for us, and of course, the princess would be needing your help," Damien said as he looked at Yuria.

Yuria blew through her lips as she said, "Well, I will see what I can do, but I still don\'t understand how you knew that I could help her out. I don\'t even know much about her unique constitution other than the details you told me."

"Don\'t worry. As I told you before, you only have to get rid of one of her ethereal cores since it\'s deteriorating her vitality," Damien said in a reassuring tone.

"It still sounds dangerous. You know how anything that involves our soul or ethereal core is a tricky thing. I am just worried about accidentally killing her since I am not used to doing things like these," Yuria said with apparent worry in her eyes.

Damien shook his head as he hugged Yuria and said, "Come on, have more faith in yourself. Nothing will go wrong, trust me. I will be there too to warn you in case things go wrong."

Yuria smiled as she nodded and reciprocated his hug, feeling a wave of confidence filling her body.

"Okay! Let\'s go!" Yuria said as she summoned two horses from her beast bag, and the two rode away towards where Valentina and the others were waiting.
